If you've already got a set of wheels you're happy with, or you're building up your dream Nomad from scratch, the Santa Cruz Nomad 2027 CC Frame Kit is the place to start. You get the full CC Carbon chassis — Santa Cruz's highest-grade layup — along with a Fox DHX2 Factory coil shock, spring-rated to suit your size straight out of the box.

This is the same frame that underpins every build in the Nomad 2027 range: 170mm of VPP rear travel, retuned kinematics, and a redesigned layup that's 86 grams lighter than the outgoing generation. The slimmer downtube isn't just there to save weight — it increases compliance through the front end, smoothing out the worst of what rough trails can throw at you and leaving you fresher at the bottom. The head angle sits at 63.6° in Hi and 63.3° in Lo via the Flip Chip, matching the Santa Cruz Bullit, and the VPP suspension has been quietly retuned for improved traction, better pedalling efficiency, and more composed braking on steep terrain.

Every Nomad frame accepts mechanical drivetrain cable routing across all drivetrains, so you're not locked into any particular groupset direction. The Glovebox V2 storage compartment, Accessory Mount, and updated ISCG05 Minus 1 chainguide mount all feature as standard. The included Fox DHX2 Factory coil shock comes with a size-specific spring — a thoughtful touch that means you're not hunting for the right rate separately.
